Honoring the courage and sacrifices of former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. on his day of remembrance. His legacy of resilience and dedication to democracy continues to inspire us.
It should be noted that while we commemorate him today, the holiday was moved by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to Friday, August 23, for the sole reason of having a longer weekend that would encourage domestic travel.
